FAQs

Before booking

I would like to book one of your classes but you do not seem to have the date & time I would like available, is there anything I can do?

Yes! We are often able to organise classes and events for specific dates & times, although our calendar fills up quickly so we recommend you to get in touch asap. Send us an email to hello@munilondon.com with details of the type of class you’d like, the date, time and any other specifics and we will happily look into options for you.

I would like to gift one of your classes to a friend but I am not sure which date they will be available. What do you recommend?

The best is for you to get a gift card for the value of the class you would like to gift your friend, they will receive a digital or a physical card (you choose!) and will then be able to use its value to purchase the class at the date and time that works best for them. You can find our gift cards here.

How long are your gift cards valid for?

Our gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

After booking

Do I need an apron for my class? And do you provide one?

Unfortunately we do not provide aprons.

Aprons (or clothes you do not care much for) are only strongly recommended for classes involving throwing (any throwing courses, privates, taster classes), as it is likely that you get clay splashes while at the wheel.

If your class is hand-building only you should be fine without an apron as it does not get so messy. We would still advise to bring an old t-shirt to put over your clothes and/or clothes that are not delicate.

In any case clay comes off with washing, so don’t panic if you stain your clothes during a class - it happens to us all!

I booked a class but I can no longer make it, what happens now?

As per our T&Cs all bookings are not refundable. However if you let us know at least 14 days before the class, we would be happy to try and help: if we can find another person to take over your place on the class we will issue you with a credit note for the cost of your booking minus a £20 admin fee per person. If no other person books your place we will not be able to issue a credit note. If you let us know less than 14 days before your class we cannot offer a reschedule or credit note.

I made a booking but I do not seem to have received a confirmation email, can you help?

Annoyingly sometimes our emails end up in the spam folder - please check if it may be there. If it is not, send us an email to hello@munilondon.com with the name of the person that made the booking (and the class type and the date if you have the details), and we will happily re-send you the confirmation email.

I made a booking but my order shows as pending, is everything confirmed?

Absolutely! As long as payment was taken from your account and you have an order number all is confirmed on our end. Just disregard the ‘pending’ status.

Is there available parking or bike racks at your studio?

There are pay and display spaces in our street (Warriner Gardens) which are free of charge during the weekends or after 5pm on weekdays. Please do not park inside the Imperial Laundry’s carpark as you will get a fine.

If you come by bike there are bike racks under the metal staircase at the end of the carpark in the Imperial Laundry.

After the class

When can I collect my pieces?

It takes 4-6 weeks for a piece to be ready after a class, as it needs to dry and then go through 2 kiln firings.

To know when your piece/s are ready click on ‘collections’ in the footer of our website. You will also find there the available collection times each week and all other relevant details.
